The Chicago Cougars program is honored to be affiliated with the oldest and most respected Provincial Junior A Hockey Club in Ontario, The Burlington Cougars.  Although the Burlington Cougars are not the local Junior Team in Chicago, they are the symbol of what we hope to achieve through our summer hockey programs.  The Cougars have a rich tradition in developing coaches and hockey players and promoting them to their next level of hockey, assisting them in their goals to reach their maximum potential.

July 30 - August 3, 2012

This camp is designed to give the player the full package of power skating, puck control, passing, shooting, and team play. There will be a controlled scrimmage on Friday afternoon for all players to showcase thier improvement. Each day will consist of two and a half hours of         on-ice instruction, 45 mintues of classroom and 45 minutes to one hour of dry-land training. Please remember to pack a lunch daily.

Description:

This program is for AA/AAA and Advanced Travel players only! Students will be challenged andpushed to the edge of their ability. Each skill will be demonstrated at a high level of difficulty. Students will be expected to focus, visualize and execute a wide variety of challenging Skating and Puck Control drills. The programs also include Scoring Drills and Game Concepts that will not only help create a well rounded player but also give each student a better understanding of the game.
